The annual Mardi Gras for a Cause, a musical celebration that raises money for a local charity, will take place on Tues., Feb. 25 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight. Participating restaurants and pubs will offer Mardi Gras-themed food and drink specials; all locations will have live music. Guests are encouraged to visit several locations during the evening, there will be bangles, beads, prizes and a lot of fun.
Funds raised during the Mardi Gras event will benefit Backpack Snack Attack, a non-profit organization that provides food on weekends and in the summer to nearly 300 needy children within the Warwick, Florida, and Greenwood Lake Public School Districts.
Participating restaurants include: Blarney Station, Edenville General Store, Yesterdays, Fetch, Baird’s Tavern, Craft Beer Cellar, Halligan’s Pub, La Piazza Wine & Martini Bar, Grappa Ristorante, Village Billiards, Eddie’s Roadhouse and Coquito.
