The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) reports that for the week ending on Mon., Jan. 6, the Warwick FD has responded to 463 calls.
On Thurs., Jan. 2, the Warwick Fire District and the Warwick Fire Department held their annual reorganization meetings respectively at Warwick Station #1. The WFD thanks President Stevens for continuing the tradition of passing the badges and presenting Chief Dan Schweikart with his Chiefs badges. He passed his 1st Asst Chief badges to Mike Contaxis and Mike passed his 2nd Asst Chief badges to Andrew Lemin. Congratulations to all!
Warwick Fire Prevention Report
The Warwick Fire Prevention team asks that residents please remember to change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Also remember to have homes checked, including boilers, water heaters and chimneys. Remember to always be Warwick Fire Safe! Bowling Fundraiser
WFD is hosting a Bowling with the Bravest fundraiser on Sat., Jan. 25. Doors open at 4 p.m. and bowling begins at 5 p.m. The cost is $35 per person. To order tickets, visit the WFD Facebook page.
