The Warwick Ambulance Junior Corps participated in two volunteer campaigns over the holiday season to give back to their community.
On Sat., Nov. 23, the Corps held their annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive Event. The teens collected non perishable food items and monetary donations, which were used to purchase food items, for the Warwick and Florida food pantries. The total collected at ShopRite in Warwick was $900, and the total collected at Quick Check in Florida was $400.
On Sat., Dec. 14, the Junior Corps volunteered in Wreaths Across America at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, in Goshen. The Corps gave a $300 donation to purchase 30 wreaths to be placed on veterans’ graves.
