W.V. Chamber Readies for Evening of Music

Local News News & Updates

Step back in time with The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce at the stately headquarters of The Warwick Historical Society for an after-hours business mixer on Wed., Jan. 22 at the A.W. Buckbee Center located at 2 Colonial Avenue in Warwick from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

“We are excited to welcome The Warwick Valley Chamber to the A.W. Buckbee Center for the first after-hours Chamber Mixer of the year, and in time for a last look at the Holidays from Yesterday exhibit currently on display. Our members have worked hard to showcase life during the winter of 1863, and the effect the Civil War had on local families; it’s a really beautiful and moving exhibit,” stated Nora Gurvich, executive director of the Warwick Historical Society.

Pack plenty of business cards and be prepared to socialize with business professionals from around the Hudson Valley. The halls of The Center will be ringing with musical entertainment featuring the popular rock duo Jeanie Cassels and John (Johnny D.) DiSibia of Strings Attached. Enjoy a complimentary selection of savory hors d’oeuvres prepared by Historical Society members, paired with wine.

The cost to attend is $10 for members, local Chamber members and their guests, and $20 for non-members. To make a reservation, call The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce at 986-2720 or email info@warwickcc.org.
