He came into the world at 7:36 p.m. on Thurs., Jan. 2 thus earning the honor of being the first baby born this year at St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.
Warren III, born to Erica and Warren Patafio of Warwick, weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. and measured 19 inches long.
Obstetrician James Brockunier, MD was the attending physician assisted by nurses Merrely Dickinson, RN and Louri Greenberg, RN.
“Everyone here was wonderful,” said Erica Patafio. “I love this facility and the nurses, doctors and staff were all very helpful. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.”
