Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus recognized Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) on Thurs., Jan. 9 by visiting and delivering muffins and pastries to police departments.
LEAD is a nationwide day of support for police officers, established by the organization Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS). It recognizes the positive impact that law enforcement officers have on Orange County’s residents and encourages residents to show appreciation for law enforcement personnel who live and work in the County.
As part of LEAD, Neuhaus visited the Town and Village of Chester Police Departments. Neuhaus also recognized the fine work that the men and women of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney’s Office perform each day.
