On Fri., Dec. 20, Meals on Wheels of Warwick distributed holiday gift bags to their clients. The gift bags included nightlights, holiday plaques, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, jellies, knitted hats and scarves and more. A big thank you to the Albert Wisner Library knitting groups, Shoprite, Target, Wadeson’s Home Center, Frazzleberries, Newhard’s, Dr. Gregory S. Freed, Family Orthodontics and Dr. Jung, Beverly Correll, Laura Kammerer and Beth Wygant for their generous donations. The previous week, the clients received Christmas arrangements from the Orange and Dutchess Garden club.
The clients were thrilled and thanked everyone for their thoughtfulness. One client mentioned that it reminded her of her grandmother who always knitted gifts for her at holiday time.
