WTBQ’s 4th Annual Toys for Military Tots drive concluded with the largest bounty of toys ever collected for this drive. The radio station, located at 179 Sanfordville Rd. in Warwick, looked like a toy store with approximately $8,000 worth of toys.
Among the major contributors were President of the Nam Knights Bob Caridi, Bob Lesko of Wayne Subaru, Orange Bank & Trust, Dawson Motors, Orange County Tourism, Leo Kaytes Ford, Kevin and Roxanne Brand of The Computer Guy, the Town of Monroe, Quinzz Pinz, and many residents and businesses.
The children of Disabled American Veterans in Orange County and children of active and reserved military stationed at Stewart Air Force Base are the recipients of this year’s drive.
“Giving back is good for your heart and great for your soul,” said WTBQ/WGHT Station Manager Taylor Sterling. “Please say a prayer for all those Veterans and Military stationed overseas that they return home safe to their families.”
