The Orange County Planning Department is developing an exciting new computer based application called “Ridetransitorange.com” that is designed to show you how to get from Point A to Point B using public transportation. This new program is undergoing testing, so you are encouraged to go online and try it out. They are looking for your feedback, either by emailing “feedback@transitorange.com” or by calling 615-3850. Since Warwick has such a vibrant bus system we are excited to use this service to offer our residents even more choices.
Our Friendly Visitor Program is really taking off and has successfully kept more of our senior citizens remaining in their homes. Through the generous volunteers in our community this service is free of charge to any senior from the Town of Warwick. There will be lighting of the Menorah on Sun., Dec. 22 at 4:45 p.m. in Lewis Park in Warwick Village on Sun., Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Greenwood Lake Ambulance building and on Mon., Dec. 23 at Village Hall in Florida. Come celebrate!
The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thurs., Dec. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, located at 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick.
