To celebrate the spirit of the holiday season, the Albert Wisner Public Library, located at 1 McFarland Dr., is offering the gift of music to the community. The holiday concert, “Peter and the Wolf and more,” will take place on Sun., Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.
The entire orchestral woodwind family will be represented in the performance by members of the Women’s Woodwind Quintet; Andrea Herr on bassoon, Carla Lacellotti-Auld on the flute, Ellen Katz Willner on the oboe, Lauren Hosford, on the French horn and Megan Shumate Beaumont, on the clarinet.
This performance is for all age groups, adults and families. Preceding the performance at 1 p.m., there will craft projects for children.
