Mayor Dwyer: GWL 6th Annual Holiday Festival

Local News News & Updates

Happy Thanksgiving

On behalf of the Village Board and staff of the Village of Greenwood Lake, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Leaf Pickup

Leaf pickup for Village residents by our garbage company will discontinue Dec. 1. If you still have trees that have yet to shed their leaves (like my yard), you may still bag leaves and leave them curbside. Please call Village Hall and a member of our DPW will be out to pick them up.

6th Annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting

Greenwood Lake is hosting its 6th Annual Holiday Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting on Sun., Dec. 1. There will be music, shopping, food trucks, bar, fire pits, photos with Santa, crafts, kiddie corner and an amazing photo scavenger hunt – guaranteed fun for the whole family. The Festival kicks off at 1 p.m. on Waterstone Rd. The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at dusk. We hope you join us for this fun and festive day as we kick off the Holiday Season! This event is rain or shine.
