On Fri., Nov. 8, the Park Avenue Elementary School PTA hosted over 80 local veterans at their annual Veterans Breakfast which took place in the Park Ave. gym. The event was open to all veterans, with breakfast buffet & coffee to follow.
The Warwick Valley Middle School Wire Choir performed. Members of the Park Avenue Student Council gave speeches &the children sang patriotic songs. Every veteran received a boutonniere & a gift bag made by a Park Ave. student. Superintendent Dr. David Leach & Warwick Village Mayor Michael Newhard were in attendance.
