Dan Castricone has been named the County’s Risk Management Officer. His duties as Risk Management Officer will include developing and managing a system of self and fully-insured programs to meet the needs of Orange County and its employees. He will also administer and manage employee and retiree benefit programs, including health, dental and vision, and the County’s Workers’ Compensation program. In addition, Castricone will be responsible for reviewing and approving all insurance limits, monitoring trends and revising coverage as needed.
Castricone, a Tuxedo resident, served on the Orange County Legislature from 2009 to 2013 and was the Chairman of the Personnel and Compensation Committee. He represented the Towns of Tuxedo, Warwick, Chester and Monroe.
