A blood drive will be held on Sat., Dec. 7 in memory of Eric Nicholson at the Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corps, located at 74 Windermere Ave. in Greenwood Lake, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eric, who was a South Carolina State Trooper, was born and raised in Greenwood Lake. He was killed on Dec. 6, 2000 in the line of duty in Greenville, SC at the age of 28, just an hour after donating blood.
